FermZilla 27L Tri-Conical Starter Kit
Generation 3.0

Introducing the Gen3 FermZilla Tr-Conical. Now with 3 Inch Tri-Clover ferrule molded into the tank and redesigned tri-clover dump valve. This unit was born from customer feedback we received on the Gen2 Model. No more complicated dump valve designs here, just simplicity. Brew with confidence on the new Tri-Clover FermZilla Range.
The new FermZilla is a revolution in home brewing allowing home brewers and small micro-breweries a level of control that meets everyone's budget. With the FermZilla you have many of the benefits of a much more expensive stainless conical fermenter but with the additional benefit of being able to see the fermentation process in action and also ferment at pressures up to 2.4bar.
This is an incredible product at an extremely attractive price point in all the different sizes and models.
The FermZilla 27L Tri-Conical can be used in the following ways:
KL25898 ~ Basic Gravity Fermenter - New Brewers
KB07201 ~ Pressure Brewing Kit - Most Popular
KB07249 ~ Hop Bong Pressure Kit - For Intermediate Brewers
KB07297 ~ Glycol Twister Pressure Brewing Kit - Glycol Obsessed*(We recommend fermentation fridges/chambers over glycol chilled)
If you want to fit a thermowell to the lid of this fermenter then you should really check out the Gen3 60cm Stainless Thermowell Kit that includes the bulkhead fitting so you can mount this into the lid of this Fermenter.
That way you can take a core reading and control your ferment with a RAPT Fermentation Controller or the MKII Temperature Controller.
What's new the difference between Gen2 and Gen3?
1. Molded 3 inch tri clover ferrule in the body of the FermZilla tank
2. 3 inch to 2 inch tri clover Butterfly Valve
3. 2 inch tri clover compatible Collection Container
Is it easier to clean / take apart than the Gen2?
YES, It is by far the easiest Conical PET fermenter to disassemble and clean into all the nooks and crannies. Simply release all pressure inside the vessel and detatch the tri clover clamps.

Warnings:
Please read the instructions thoroughly before use. The current version can be found in the 'instructions' tab above. We will not be held liable for misuse or mishandling of the unit contrary to the instructions.
Keeping the units out of direct sunlight is a must for all PET fermenters. Sunlight degrades PET.
Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 35°C and pressure ferment past 5psi at these temperatures.
Please note:
When using this vessel under pressure. You must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof before you fill the fermenter every time. To do this. Fill your FermZilla up with some water, then apply a minimum of 15psi pressure to the vessel. Check for leaks around all Cap / Threads by tipping it upside down, in all directions where there are risks of leakage.
Occasionally these units may come with some small indentations/dimples/dents from shipping, this is just a reality of shipping large blow-moulded thin-walled vessels. But don't panic, these fermenters are designed to endure minor deformations such as this. This was a necessary implementation into the design so that they can withstand some accidental suction from cold crashing and rough handling in transit without compromising their integrity and ability to endure high pressures. All small dents will push out and settle with use and positive pressure and are only an issue and warrant replacement in the rare event they start to show white stress patterns or have damaged the plastic.

FermZilla - 55L - Conical Uni Tank Fermenter

The new FermZilla 55L brought to you by the critical key minds and engineers behind the original Gen1. But with all the tweaks that make it the most cost effective conical fermenter to date!
The FermZilla has primarily been designed as a pressure fermentation, carbonation and dispensing vessel.
The FermZilla is the perfect option for brewers that want all the advantages of a conical fermenter without the price tag of a full blown stainless steel unit. It allows you to dump trub, harvest yeast, and with the addition of the55L FermZilla Pressure Kit, you can carbonate and serve – all in one vessel! The clear PET tank allows you to visually monitor fermenation activity and is pressure rated to 2.4 Bar (34.8 psi), which means you can ferment under pressure, reducing ester and fusel alcohols in your finished beer. This also gives the ability to perform pressure transfers. If you prefer to move your finished beer to a keg or other vessel, you can do so with little to no oxygen exposure.

If you want to control the pressure retained in a pressure vessel that is releasing pressure then the BlowTie Diaphram Spunding Valve is the tool for the job.
The adjustment knob on the top of the unit makes it easy to increase and decrease the set pressure.
This BlowTie unit can be easily disassembled for cleaning using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Pressure Fermentations
With pressurised fermentation becoming ever more popular it has become increasingly important to have a method of regulating and controlling this residual pressure from the fermentation process. The BlowTie has been designed specifically for this reason.

Pressure Transfers
When transferring from keg to keg, keg to bottle, or fermenter to keg it's often a good idea to have head pressure in the keg you are filling into especially if you are transferring a beverage that is carbonated. For this reason the BlowTie can consistently control this head pressure giving you more consistent results and without losing carbonation in the process.

Traditional spunding valves that use a simple spring against a seal are flawed right from the beginning as the physical aspects of the design dictate that you will have a significant difference between the opening pressure and closing pressure during operation. Brewers have tolerated this imperfection for long enough and now you can control these pressures far more accurately.
The BlowTie has been made completely differently taking advantage of a diaphragm to actuate the sealing mechanism that will release pressure from the pressure vessel with much more accurate control pressure.

Instructions:
Use the yellow adjustment knob to control the pressure coming out of the pressure vessel. Clockwise is higher pressure and anticlockwise is lower pressure.
We would recommend gassing a keg to a known pressure e.g. 15psi then attach your Blow Tie Kit to the keg and adjust to 10psi.
Specifications:
1. Made from food-grade acetal
2. Stainless screws
3. 8mm (5/16") push on both sides
4. 0-15psi pressure rating
Please note: The joiners are a semi-permanent fitting. You will not be able to remove the fittings easily. If you would like to have a completely removable fitted kit we would suggest using EVABarrier 4mm ID or 5mm ID hose as the joining pieces.
